Actually life is great here. We got a call from Derek;s nephrologist yesterday that his kidney function has improved and much of the “bumps” we have seen was probably due to the recurrent illnesses the poor kid was getting all winter. We actually have seen an increase in his kidney function, YEAH!!!!!
Last weekend was Derek’s first official T-ball game. As I have mentioned he plays on the Angels and for their first game they did really well. All of the boys (girls can play we just don’t have any on our team) looked to have a great time. I have to admit that I never realized T-ball was a full contact sport that involved tackling. 
The boys were so excited to get a chance to field the ball and throw it to first that they all rushed it at once. Derek seems to have some natural talent and enjoys playing so we will encourage this for as long as we can and if he continues GREAT but if not we will have to find something new.
As for Monet I took my hand at Arts & Crafts during nap time today and came up with a tutu. It is purple & lilac. I embellished it with rhinestone butterflies and dragonflies in pink & purple, I also added a matching bow to the hip. I thin she likes it, what do you think?

I love this whole post, but especially the very first line!! Baseball doesn’t start here until June (still too much snow!). My girls would be VERY jealous of that tutu – great job!!

Awww, the kids both look amazing. Just so happy and healthy and NORMAL. Too cool.
