I am so sorry I haven’t posted an update. We have been terribly busy the last few weeks and I am just now catching my breath and getting caught up. Our computer crashed a few weeks ago and we are having a someone try recover a little off the hard drive, unfortunately it crashed just before my final exam. Derek had is first “normal child” trip to the ER earlier this month. He was jumping on our bed and just as Steve warned him to stop he thumped his fore head against our marble-top night stand. Needless to stay, but we sent a few hours in the ER and thankfully he is alright.
Monet is now potty trained, I can’t believe how is that was!!!! She doesn’t need diapers at night either (but I am making her wear them for a few more days “just in case.”) She is growing up so fast and has a very loving personality like Derek but yet all her own. She loves to laugh and shrill and sing.
Both kids are in swimming lessons and doing great. Derek was VERY AFRAID of the water but their swim instructor is one of the best I have ever seen. He now jumps off the side and will go completely underwater all by himself. (If anyone would like to hire her let me know I’ll pass he info on.)
We are getting ready to spend July 4th weekend with Jamie and her family at their cabin, it should be cooler there. Hopefully I’ll get some great pics of all of the kids to pass along and post.
